Emma’s Family Cleaning Services LLC values its users’ privacy. This privacy policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or use our online facilities and services and what we will not do with the information we collect. Our Policy has been designed to assure those affiliated with Emma’s Family Cleaning Services LLC of our commitment and realization of our obligation to meet and exceed most existing privacy standards.
Terms and Conditions
Full payment is due at the time of your cleaning.
A credit card number must be kept on file to submit an order. Your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, for each cleaning unless you leave an alternate form of payment at the time of service. Emma’s Family Cleaning Services accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express. We do not accept checks or cash payments.
A $25 failed credit card transaction Fee will be applied.
Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to our checklist and priorities discussed during your consultation. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. If you forego a deep clean at the commencement of your service, please note that it will take a few cleanings to confirm your ongoing maintenance needs. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that our maintenance cleanings will address the areas in need of additional attention as quickly as possible. Some homes may be subject to a first-time cleaning fee.
We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office regularly, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness, or departure from the company, Two Maids may occasionally provide a replacement professional house cleaner.
If, due to the unique nature of your home, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work. We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings considered as heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. To be safe, always check the information you entered into the booking form and remember that for us to perform our job you should leave the place uncluttered.
To ensure quality service for all valued clients, Emma’s Family Cleaning Services cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our professional house cleaners to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.
Service provider(s) will arrive within the following timeframes:
When we have a key to the home, our arrival window is between 8 am and 4 pm.
When we are meeting someone at the home, we will set a two-hour arrival window between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
After each cleaning, you’ll have the opportunity to review the job on a scale from 1-10. Your rating will directly determine the compensation level for the professional house cleaners assigned to your home. Please take a moment to offer your comments. We value your opinions and your feedback is essential for us to improve our service and serve you better.
Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Emma’s Family Cleaning Services will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right.
Emma’s Family Cleaning Services never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your professional cleaners. Even posting an online review expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
We understand it may be necessary to reschedule on occasion. If it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, Emma’s Family Cleaning Services requires notice of two business days. If we receive less than two business days’ notice, or if we cannot access your home, it will be necessary to charge you up to the full price of your cleaning. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. Please contact your local office directly to make schedule changes. Schedule or service changes may not be made through your professional house cleaner.
Recurring services are priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.
Emma’s Family Cleaning Services is bonded and insured. If breakage/loss occurs, notification must be made within 48 hours of service. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or miscoded. There is a $100 per location liability limit for key replacement and/or locksmith services.
Emma’s Family Cleaning Services uses safe and reliable professional-grade cleaning supplies to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact our office to discuss this before your cleaning so we can provide instructions to your professional house cleaner.
Please secure all pets in their travel crates or kennels. Emma’s Family Cleaning Services will treat all pets with love and respect; however, we cannot be responsible for their escape.
For safety and insurance purposes, we do not climb higher than a two-step ladder.
We will attempt to reach all visible areas with either an extension duster or vacuum extension.
We cannot move items weighing more than 25 pounds.
We cannot touch or move firearms in order to clean an area. Clients who own firearms should move them to an area we do not clean.
We do not clean animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood, or other similar bio-hazard materials.
We do not use bleach, except at the client’s request. Please note, that we will not be responsible for damage it may cause.
We clean “living space” only, which is the area in a home or facility that has air conditioning.
We do not remove or haul away trash, debris, or furniture. This also applies to Post Construction Clean Up.
Before we report to a new construction job site, all equipment, tools, and/or debris must be removed. It is highly recommended that all work orders for construction have been completed before final clean-up services have been provided. The final clean we provide is a very thorough and detailed deep clean in preparation for the new homeowners to move in. We place no guarantee on this type of service for the simple fact that most construction companies completely fail to adhere to this policy and usually have contractors working inside of the home while cleaners are attempting to clean it, as they clean some areas contractors create additional messes within areas of the home that the cleaning crew has already cleaned.
